Top Two Pair

  1. Noun

    A hand in which a player's pocket cards have the same value as the highest and second-highest community cards; two pair made using unpaired pocket cards and the two highest cards on the board.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Top two pair is an example of a split two pair.

    EXAMPLE: "I went all-in after I made top two pair, but lost on the showdown against a straight."
