Who is pot committed; who has already contributed such a high percentage of one's chip stack to the pot so as to make folding no longer a reasonable choice even if holding a hand that is likely to be beaten on the showdown.
EXAMPLE: "If I make a hand that I think will hold up on the showdown early in the round, I make sure to know how much my opponents have in their stacks. Rather than make a raise that would put them all-in immediately, I will often make a slightly smaller raise that will just get them potstuck. I find some opponents are more likely to call the initial raise that way because it is a smaller raise, although, it doesn't really end up being smaller since I just raise them the rest of their stack on the next round of betting. With most of their chips already in the pot, almost nobody folds to the second raise."
