Outrun

  1. Verb

    To be dealt cards that complete one's hand or improve the hand enough to win even though the hand was previously an underdog.

    EXAMPLE: "I made a decent hand on the flop and made a large raise to help protect it. I didn't want too many people to stay in the hand because I was afraid someone would outrun me."
