Hold-out Artist

  1. Noun

    A cheater who hides cards with the intent of using them at a later point; a mechanic who specializes in removing cards from play and reintroducing them when they would be most beneficial.

    EXAMPLE: "The cardroom caught a hold-out artist with an ace up the sleeve."
