False Cut

  1. Noun

    Any manipulation of the cards designed to appear as though the deck has been cut but in which the cards initially on top of the deck remain on top.

    EXAMPLE: "It is quite difficult to learn how to do a false cut without being detected, but a bit of a fun party trick if you can pull it off."
